cuteness

October 19, 2009

i have been photographing this brother & sister for a couple of years now.  i am just amazed at how much they have grown, and how their personalities have changed.   we had a lot of fun … lots of laughs & giggles, and just a little fighting between them (isn’t that typical though?)  miss nikki is such a poser, and i could have easily taken a huge number of pictures of her – she was just full of ideas.  and then we have mr. bobby …. getting him to smile was tough – not because he doesn’t, just because he says he doesnt smile for pictures – such a character!   we had a fun session, and i think it shows in these pictures ….

do you see ….

“insert animal here”  in my lens ….. my famous last words from this session.  hey, whatever works – right?  sometimes i just have to be silly & creative – that is what it usually takes for children to warm up to me, and my camera.  we started out at the farm, however we weren’t very successful with the little one – he was cold, and wanted to go home.   mom even tried to bribe him with ice cream, lollipops, and even resorted to money – but he wasn’t giving in.  i’m happy to say we were very successful at home … here is your “sneak peek” … i can’t wait to show you the rest!

beautiful family

September 22, 2009

photographing families is always fun for me – it’s so nice to see the love & interaction between them.  the little girl was quite shy at first, but quickly warmed up after Mom starting blowing bubbles.  her brother was no trouble at all …  i had him doing all kinds of posing (actually i think he was enjoying it :) ) — so, so cute!!
